1. Operator and scope

EFT briefing is a free squad coordination tool operated by meinih. These terms apply to the Windows app and Browser/PWA version. Contact: X: @meinih_moe (https://x.com/meinih_moe). Read these terms and the Privacy Policy before starting.

2. Unofficial fan tool

This is an unofficial Escape from Tarkov fan tool. It is not affiliated with, approved, sponsored or endorsed by Battlestate Games or its affiliates. Game names, trademarks, images and other assets belong to their respective owners. Map/data sources and attribution remain available in Settings → Attribution.

3. No interference with the game

The app does not intercept EFT packets, read game process memory, modify or reverse-engineer the game client, automate gameplay or bypass anti-cheat. Windows integration reads game-created log files and screenshot filenames/file metadata in folders you select. Position and direction are calculated from screenshot filenames; image contents are not analyzed or uploaded. A marker represents the last recognized capture, not continuous tracking.

4. Use and unsigned Alpha

Follow the game and related services' rules. Non-interference does not guarantee approval by the game operator, future compliance or freedom from account sanctions. The initial Public Alpha Windows distribution is unsigned. OS warnings may appear. We do not ask you to ignore warnings: verify the published source and SHA256 and do not run software you do not trust.

5. Rooms and contributions

Public recruitment metadata is visible to other users and current player names are searchable. Anyone with an appropriate invite can join a Private Room; participants can see shared content. Do not place real names, contact details, secrets or others' personal information in names, chat or notes. We cannot prevent participants from saving or reposting content. Leader kicks and rejoin restrictions are Room-scoped best-effort controls, not permanent account bans. Report currently produces local feedback only; it does not submit a report to an operator or moderation service. Use the X contact to reach the operator. Do not post personal details publicly. Do not expose Private Room invite URLs/codes to unintended recipients. When intentionally recruiting through Public Room/X sharing, understand that the invite URL will be publicly visible.

6. Prohibited conduct

Do not use the service for unauthorized access, excessive requests, exploitation, cheating or game tampering, stealing or exposing invites/information, impersonation, harassment, threats, discrimination, spam, illegal content, infringement of intellectual property or privacy, or service disruption. The operator may restrict connections or take proportionate steps to protect the service and its users.

7. Optional support and external payment

Support is voluntary and does not change available features. Contributions support server maintenance and continued development. The support button opens the approved Stripe Payment Link in an external browser. The app does not embed checkout or collect card numbers. Check amounts, payment methods and final details on Stripe. Support is not a purchase of features or a promise of future development or uptime. Contact the operator about mistaken payments without including unnecessary payment details. Statutory rights are not restricted.

8. Limitations and data safety

Alpha software may contain bugs, inaccurate maps, tasks or coordinates, synchronization failures and outages. Accuracy, currency, completeness, continued availability and future game compatibility are not guaranteed. Do not use it as the sole store of important information. Screenshot cleanup permanently deletes recognized files after explicit confirmation; back up wanted images elsewhere first. Liability is limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing excludes liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer protections.

9. Changes and termination

Features or service may change, pause or end because of maintenance, failures, costs, safety or game changes. Where practicable we will provide notice in the app or distribution information; emergencies may require later notice. Material changes to terms or data handling will identify the changes and effective date, with renewed consent where legally required.
